Vernal Equinox

Spring as finally sprung!!! Fresh air, fresh outlook, fresh earth. This Sabbat is the day of change and rebirth. Its' the day of rejuvenation. Its' about the sweet kiss of life! Ah! The Goddess arises from the Underworld and makes the earth grow in celebration. This Ostara is going to be different for me, well, it already has been different. It’s going to be a real celebration. A celebration of me returning to myself. All winter I was battling a raging depression, which ultimately was from my spiritual crisis. I felt the winter grasp me in its cold dry hands and squeeze the life force out of me. It was pretty ugly. I would really like to plant seeds while planting the seeds of happiness, inspiration, and growth. I want to paint some eggs, and bury them on the property. Mostly for protection if not birthing a new lifestyle (not literal fertility! That would be bad). The sun moves to Ares, so I think I may want to invoke courage, change, and find my own inner power this Spring, while thinking about the resurrection of our Goddess Persephone.
