Movie Review- Harold and Maude

This 1971 movie changed my life. The movie is about a 20-something Harold, who was obsessed with death. He consistently tries to fake his own death at his Mother's expense. He meets Maude, who he met at a funeral. She is a 79 year old woman who teaches him to enjoy life instead of being dead. They hang out and date for a week. She shows him how to play a banjo, see art, and finally truly open up. Harold and Maude fall in love with each other. A the end of the week on her birthday, she decides to kill herself. In her mind eighty is the right age to die. Harold, even though grieving, continues to truly live his life.

What the movie has taught me is to live life to the fullest. Not only that but love can pop up in the strangest places, like a funeral, lol. What I learned: I don't want to be dead, I want to SING!!!!!!!! Be an activist. This movie is totally cute and amazing. Hilarious yet it can also be serious.

I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone, who enjoys thought-provoking and funny movies (but mostly the peeps who like to think).
You should totally check it out!!!!
