This tenet is from the Feri Tradition. It's fascinating to know that this quote could mean so much to non-Pagan feminists. This Feri tradition (of Witchcraft) tenet is about knowing and making the right decisions. It’s about taking responsibility. Blaming another person (or company, group, etc) for your problems is a submission of life force. You are giving that person (or whoever or whatever else) power over you. Do not succumb! Be a peaceful warrior or activist by knowing yourself and your choices. Take action when there are no choices provided. Your life force is your will. Never let someone else wield power over you when you have a choice and if there isn’t make it a choice.
The Feminist Movement is trying to give you more choices in this world. That’s why I think this quote is so important. It helps you remember as a woman that there are choices and choices are our most powerful ally. Honoring your life force is the beginning to success.
