I wanted to write about this particular skill that I had attained when I started practicing WitchCraft. Cloud-skrying is a lot like crystal-gazing but a bit different. In my belief system I believe that the Divine shape the clouds to guide me along on my path. I don't need anything to cloud-skry but to just look up.
All you have to do is change consciousness. Pull over those rose-colored glasses, center yourself and breathe deep. I always liked asking the God and Goddess for guidance before I began. Simply gaze at the sky. See anything interesting that may guide you? If you have a question, ask it. Don’t think about other things or even your question. Just gently hold it in your mind, don’t strain yourself! Keep your head clear and open. If an image keeps coming to you than this can be the answer or this image holds a great deal of information for you and your spiritual practice. If there is a shape that means something to you please write it down and meditate what this image can hold for you.
This may take time to practice, not a lot of Witches whom I know do not use cloud-skrying so this may be something new.
